Our residents enjoy all that Albany and the surrounding areas have to offer, including diverse restaurants, museums and shopping. First year residents participate in a walking restaurant and cheese tour of Albany. Residents, faculty and their families enjoy a summer picnic at Thacher State Park with food, games and hiking.

Saratoga Springs is less than an hour away and popular for its wonderful restaurants and trips to the Saratoga Race Track. Residents enjoy trips to the Adirondacks , Catskills and the Berkshires for hiking, swimming and camping. New York City and Boston are less than three hours driving time and make for great day trips.
